Description:

TMBZ, a chromogenic reagent for the determination of H2O2 or peroxidase activities, has been utilized as an alternate to benzidine, which is a carcinogenic chemical. The colorless aqueous solution turns to bluish green (lmax: 655 nm) in the presence of H2O2 and peroxidase.
